What the RPC receives
When your wallet uses https://bsc.backrun.io, it sends JSON-RPC requests: signed transactions and read requests such as balances, gas prices and contract calls. Like any web service, the request reaches our server with your IP address.
What we keep
- We do not store your IP address, and we do not store signed transactions.
- For each transaction we log the transaction hash and whether each route accepted it. These logs are kept for up to 15 days and are used to measure inclusion and fix problems.
- We do not use cookies or analytics on this RPC.
Who receives your transaction
Your signed transaction is sent privately, not to the public mempool, to:
- the private RPCs of BNB Chain block builders (currently 48 Club and BlockRazor), which may share limited details such as the transaction hash and logs with searchers to run a backrun auction, under their own policies;
- a block builder operated with backrun.
Once a transaction is included in a block it is public on the blockchain, like any other transaction.
Read requests
Read requests are forwarded to public BNB Chain nodes operated by BNB Chain. They see the request but not your IP address.
Service providers
The site and RPC run on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver and protect the service.
